"I went from a non-sewer to an enthusiast!"

"I LOVE Elizabeth's practical, encouraging, flexible approach. She made me feel confident to give it a go.

One of my friends who is an editor for a prominent fashion magazine said she was so impressed with my seams! *Blush* I just followed along video by video and learned so much.

I made a kind of complex skirt from a different designer after this shirt, and what I learned in this course helped me tremendously.

About to buy a couple more of Liz's patterns now ;) Do the course, it's an investment in self-care!"

Hi! I'm Liz.

When I started Elizabeth Suzann 11 years ago, I was limited to a straight stitch sewing machine, serger, and my self-taught sewing skills (the same tools most home-sewists have access to), which makes our styles *so* well suited for DIY.

After sewing many of our customers orders myself, creating over 1000 development and photoshoot samples, and drafting and grading all of our patterns, I have tons of tricks up my sleeve to make sewing easy and efficient. And I've made plenty of mistakes that I can help you avoid! I can't wait to sew with you.

Sewing your own clothing is truly transformational.

You will find so much connection with your body and personal style, and you will feel immense pride when you can wear something you made with your own two hands. And trust me, you are so capable! My approach to sewing is relaxed and open-minded. There is no mistake we can't fix, and there are many ways to create a wonderful garment. We'll find what works for you and make it FUN!

Customers praised this on-demand sewing workshop for its clear, detailed instruction and easy-to-follow format. Beginners and experienced sewists appreciated the generous information, professional finishing techniques, and flexible self-paced approach. Many noted the confidence gained to complete garments with impressive results.

Details!

I took this class to learn more about finishing the garment. I’m fairly experienced and wanted to take my skills further with professional finishing and construction. All the videos are great and my first garment made from the class feels so special.

An easy pattern that flatters almost everyone

An easy pattern that flatters almost everyone, makes sewing a finished looking project easy. Great for beginners, but also good for people who never seem to finish a garment they like. Bonus with the workshop is getting to correspond and zoom with Elizabeth Suzanne, one of the nicest, most attentive and accommodating people in the business. Well worth the investment.

Thank you Elizabeth

Thank you Elizabeth,
I'm working slowly through the on-demand Georgia Series workshop and it is wonderful to go at my own pace and let it all sink in. The information and thoughtful way the workshop is constructed is so detail and considerate of both beginner and experienced sewist. I'm confident in my choice to do this workshop as I jump back into sewing after several decades away from sewing.

The amount of information offered is very generous

I typically sew quilts, and haven't worked on clothes in years and this video session was a great way to hop back in. I made myself one shirt, standard, and I'll be trying another one soon with the French seams instructions. The amount of information offered is very generous. Thank you!

Nice simple top

This is a nice top for anyone, and any level of sewing. The only thing I changes is the way I did the hem. Instead of pressing and trying to line up the front and back perfectly, I made the hem after I sewed up the sides. The instructions for the binding are good, but I hand baste in place after pinning in place, before I sew. Basting will allow the fabric to relax into position, and I don't have pins to poke me, or get in the way of the needle. Then, when I turn over the binding, I baste again before sewing down.

Top tutorial

I signed up for the top tutorial. First off the videos are very well done and I love the additional knowledge you share about history and art that not only influenced you but the industry. As I continued to watch the video my mind was racing to add my own creative flair.

Perfect

As someone new to sewing this course was perfect for me. I loved hearing about how Liz’s interest in clothing began, her philosophy and desire to share her knowledge. The in-depth detail for every step of making the Georgia tee taught me so much about sewing. I almost have a finished garment -still need to hem - and I have the confidence to make more pieces. Worth every penny.
